Shop Austin - Tiffanys

The little blue box is here. This will be Austin's first blue Christmas. Tucked away at the Domain, the local shopper will have the ability to buy those timeless classics from Tiffanys. Promising signature service, the personable staff promises amazing on site wish lists and extended hours. All a bit above and beyond to meet the specific needs of any Christmas check list.

Come armed with her or his checklist or drop off your own to anyone of the willing staff, they will be glad to make sure all of your favorite items are passed along to that grateful Mr. Claus.

our pick: Return to Tiffany Heart Keylock, $225.00. This mid size charm serves as the perfect key ring. For those who wouldn't dare tuck this statement piece into a purse all day long, I suggest you place it on your lace up oxford pump or Tiffanys open link necklace.

Honestly - I couldn't help but make my way over to the diamonds. I'm totally into the right hand ring for women. Whether you're a successful self-sufficient sophisticate or enjoying new found single freedoms. The luxury of diamonds translates with or without him.

Shop Austin - Aidan at by George

Take note. Designer Emily Shalant will make her Austin debut this Spring. by George's keen eyed buyer selected a few pieces from her line, Aidan.

Each simplified dress within the up-n-coming collection will attract those who love to edit their look. The use of an exposed zipper or clothed monochromatic flower to the neckline helps any girl bypass over done prom like overtones.

Star spot: Here's Vanessa Born in a Aidan "like" dress.

Shop Austin - Moxie and the Compound

Shop Moxie and the Compound for one-of-a kind pieces created by Austin's own.

Why: Nearly everything in the store is created by local designers and artists.

Austin Designers: Kayci Wheatley, Kathie Sever, Kathy Bateman, Terry Benaryeh, Bernadelle Noll, Jon Lawrence, Valerie Harrington, Wee Rock, Anne Hanrahan, P.J.Cramer, Penny Van Horn, Mae Mae Stiles, Mirt Foster, Anna McCourt, Daniel Johnston, Katey Gilligan and Carol Calkins

Support local businesses: The store is run on a commission basis. Owner Kayci Wheatly splits sales 60/40, giving designers the bigger piece of the pie. By shopping here, you not only support the store, but also local talent.

Project Runway: Do you have what it takes to be a fashion designer? Join in the fun of Project Runway at Moxie on the Compound every Thursday starting at 6p.m. Each week an episode of Project Runway will be shown. Designers then have one week to replicate the challenge. The following week designers will present their work in a live fashion show. Judging the fun will be some of Austin's most fashionable--Stephen Moser of The Austin Chronicle, Marques Harper of the Austin American Statesman, Christy Butler of Jewell magazine, and Kathie Sever, designer of Ramonsterwear.

Shop Austin - Therapy Clothing

The storeowner for Therapy, Jyl Kutsche, has mixed the best of both worlds - shopping and chocolate. An after ten strong years this SOCO shop, has launched a new campaign Eco with an Edge.

The rest is from MY INBOX to YOU -

By Fall 2007, at least 50% of the men's and women's clothes available at Therapy will be made from sustainable and organic fabrics. By Spring 2008, that number will rise to 75%. In addition, all inventory will come from work environments committed to fair labor. Each environmentally friendly item will be outfitted with a special tag highlighting, for example, the benefits of using organic cotton -- if everyone used organic cotton, it would cut down pesticide use by 25%.

"We've always been concerned with the environment and had intelligent, environmentally conscious customers," says Therapy founder, Jyl Kutsche. "Now that there are more designers sharing those concerns, we can make a difference." Therapy's clothing won't look any different in terms of style and quality, but it will help change the way people think about shopping.

So for those of us who have been living under a rock this past year tell all of our style shaker readers what type of boutique is Complete Clothing?
Primarily Complete clothing is a streetwear boutique; however we carry something for everyone. Tees, jackets, button ups, denim, and shoes.

Where did you come up with the name Complete Clothing?
The name "Complete Clothing" is a reference to the biblical association of completeness with the number seven - my favorite number.
